We take the health and welfare of our employees very seriously and are delighted to offer meals on duty, paid breaks, enhanced overtime pay and a refer a friend scheme, as well as training and development, a rewarding working environment, flexibility in shift patterns, and plenty of variety with no two days the same. At The Hazelwell Care Home, we are not reliant on agency staff which enables us to provide the best person-centred care to our residents. 

Could an apprenticeship be for you? Funded work-based qualifications are available for all job roles and range from Level 2 – 7, arranged in partnership with HIT Training and Connect2Care.

If you enter a care home for a job interview you must show proof of vaccination unless you are exempt.

Regulations will also apply to new staff recruited by the registered provider. It is important that only new team members who have had a full course of an MHRA approved COVID-19 vaccination or are medically exempt from the requirement are eligible to work in the care home. It is only possible for newly appointed team members to start working in the care home once they have provided evidence of their vaccination status or a medical exemption.

About The Hazelwell Care Home

The Hazelwell Care Home is located within the blissful town of Heswall, Merseyside, where locals can enjoy scenic views of the River Dee. The home consists of 55 modern en-suite bedrooms and a fantastic range of facilities. Nursing, Dementia, Residential, and Respite Care are the main all-inclusive services provided by the Hazelwell Care Home in a luxury and safe environment. We take pride in providing as much assistance as is required to ensure that each of our residents live a full and meaningful life.
