A Heartfelt Thank You from the Hazelwell

thank you board

We would like to say a special thank you to the local community for their extra ordinary support during the coronavirus outbreak in the UK and subsequent lockdown.

We have been overwhelmed by all of the letters, drawings, paintings and gifts that we have received. They brighten up our day and have helped us embrace a strong sense of community throughout these hard times.

Our Home Manager, Sue said:

“We want to thank all of the families and friends of The Hazelwell for sending in letters of support and say thank you for all the drawings and paintings we have received for staff and our residents. We now have NHS rainbows in lots of our residents’ windows who enjoy waving to the neighbours walking past.

These acts of kindness are really appreciated by all the staff in the home. We also want to thank all of Heswall for the overwhelming appreciation they show during Clap for our Carers every Thursday night. We can definitely hear them which is just fabulous.

“For the safety of those in our care we continue to keep The Hazelwell closed to visitors. However, the home is currently free of Covid-19 and we are still accepting admissions for residential, nursing and dementia residential care.”
