A Viking Experience at Hazelwell Care Home

On Monday 28th March, Hazelwell Care Home invited a guest speaker to visit the home to talk about the Vikings on the Wirral Peninsula.

Our residents found this talk really interesting as they sat and watched a slide show about Wirral's Viking past. They also tried on Viking helmets and held swords and shields. All the residents had a great amount of fun and learned a lot about the Vikings - you can never be too old for a history lesson!

Thanks to a diverse activities programme, our residents can look forward to a host of exciting activities available to them on a daily basis. Our Activity Coordinators work hard to ensure that the activities we provide meet the interests of our residents.
