Introducing our New Home Manager, Simon

Simon Paul joins the Hazelwell Care Home in Heswall as their new Home Manager and brings a wealth of experience with him having worked in healthcare for over twenty years.

Starting out as a Care Assistant in a nursing home, Simon then went on to complete his nurse training and has worked across a variety of settings within the NHS for around 15 years; from surgical wards to intensive care, via theatre and then as a nurse specialist.

In 2019, Simon then returned to working in care homes where he held roles as a Deputy Manager and Home Manager, before joining the team here at the Hazelwell Care Home.

Simon brings with him a passion for delivering high-quality care whilst ensuring that the residents have an environment that is both homely and welcoming for their friends and families.

Living locally himself, Simon is striving to make the Hazelwell Care Home more of an active part of the local community. He also wants the home to be recognised as the preferred care home of choice, offering care, a lifestyle, and a home that we would all like to receive and live in ourselves.

Simon is excited to be joining the Hazelwell Care Home and looks forward to meeting the members of our community, and welcoming new people in.
