Why Taking Part in Clap for our Carers is Important to the Hazelwell

Residents and staff at The Hazelwell have been participating in ‘Clap for our Carers’ and NHS staff every Thursday at 8pm. Like most of the country, these few minutes provide a time of both reflection and thanks as well as a massive sense of community.

The residents have been assisted onto Oldfield Road so they can take part, along with our neighbours each week. It’s important for us to show support for NHS staff, key workers and carers out there who are on the front line. The atmosphere is incredibly moving and very special - one which we will never forget here at The Hazelwell.
