At The Hazelwell Care Home, we have an incredibly compassionate and professional team who provide residents with around-the-clock care services, including Nursing Care, Residential Care, Dementia Care, and Respite Care. We invite prospective residents and their loved ones to meet with our Home Manager for a consultation prior to moving in, to ensure that we can meet their every need as well as for them to be sure that we are the right home for them.

Once a resident becomes part of the family, we work closely with them and their relatives to create a care plan that incorporates their needs and interests, meaning we tailor care and support to each individual resident. Care plans are then regularly monitored by our professionals and amended if necessary with the support of our residents and their loved ones. We are also proudly regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who inspects health and social care services across England to ensure they are meeting a high standard.

We strive to offer exceptionally high standards in all that we do, from the care services we offer to our accommodation and facilities. It is our aim to provide all the modern comforts our residents need in a homely environment where they also have access to a variety of things to see and do in and around our care home in Merseyside. As well as beautifully decorated bedrooms, lounges, and dining areas, we also offer private outdoor areas, a rooftop salon, a varied activities programme and much more. We also ensure residents have access to a GP, Optician, Dentist, Physiotherapist and a Chiropodist.

Respite Care in Merseyside

Our respite care has been designed to give short-term care for residents in need. This type of care may be used as a transition period between hospital and home if they’ve had an operation or been treated for an illness and still require around-the-clock assistance. Respite care is also an ideal solution for caregivers who may require a break and some time to themselves.

The length of respite can vary from a couple of weeks to several months, allowing residents or caregivers the time they need to get back on their feet. During our resident’s stay, they will be able to benefit from our 24-hour care as well as our onsite facilities that offer great social and wellbeing advantages.
